  1. Hello,
I will be trying this diet after Thanksgiving but am a little confused about the juices. Are we only allowed the juices (unsweetened and cranberry juices) on day 7? Are we allowed the juices only on fruit days but also on day 7?

I have a second question as well. If I did the diet lets say every other week, would I still get the incredible weight loss each time?

    Thanks a bunch,
    Marlene :)

  2. Hi,
You can have unsweetened juices any day that you are allowed fruit.

Good luck and let us know how you do. I don’t know anyone who’s done it alternating weeks long-term but it does sound like a great strategy provided you feel healthy.

  3. can i do this diet long term, i have well over 100lbs to lose and want to start right away, i have a friend that is a diabetic and she takes pills twice a day, she stays away from sugar, is this diet good for diabetics as well? can you add cabbage to this diet or is it best to stick to it just the way it is? thanks for your help

  4. Hi Billie,
I’ve heard of people using it long term but taking breaks in between cycles. It’s highly recommended that you take breaks in between cycles to ensure you’re getting the right nutrient mixture. Good luck! I don’t know about diabetics. I’m sorry but I can’t say. I do know you can add cabbage. My recipe does call for cabbage and I find it gives a nice texture to the soup.

  5. Hello!
I am starting this diet on Monday. I don’t like white milk, so is there an appropriate substitution for this? I hope I can stick with it. Also, can I add crystal light to the water?
    Thanks Much!

  6. Good luck, Joanne. Never heard of a milk substitute. If you can bear chocolate skim or 1% milk, maybe try that? As for Crystal Light — no, that’s not recommended. Any substitutions made could lower the results.

  7. can you use equal or splenda on this diet ?

  8. Hi Kim,
You’re not supposed to. If you do make any substitutions or additions it could slow your results.
