On day two of the Sacred Heart diet, you’re eating vegetables and soup and more vegetables. So what’s for breakfast?  This is a question a lot of people that follow this catabolic soup diet want to know.

Here are some day 2 SHS breakfast suggestions:

-Soup. It’s really not that bad to have a bowl of this soup for breakfast, especially on day two when you haven’t gotten sick of it. By day 6 you might not want it for breakfast!

-Make a wrap using lettuce as the wrap .Fill it with tomatoes and red peppers and zucchini or whatever else you like. You can spritz a little low cal dressing if you’re desperate for some flavour

Don’t dismay! Tomorrow you can have a yummy fruit salad for breakfast if you like!

  2. What a wonderful testimony, Linda C! Add to that the fact that this diet is free and it makes it even better. So glad your husband does so well with it. Even when I’m not on the diet, I eat the soup sometimes just because it actually is delicious!

    Cheers :)

  5. Hello Yes I am trying the soup diet and it seems to be going great, but I would like to know what else besides the soup , veggies and fruit that you can have along with it. Just eating the soup 3 to 6 times a day along with the fruit on certain days and then veggies are fine but after 5 days the soup gets to be a little to much so if I could find out exactly what we can have for breakfast and that it would be greatly appreciated.I am going on day 6 and would like some help please.
    Thanks for your help
    Jean

  6. Hi Jean,
You need to stick to the plan for it to work but the good news is that you’re almost there. you’ve made it *this* far and you’re in the home stretch. day 6 & day 7 are slightly different from what you’ve had so far and so hopefully that’s enough to get you to the finish line. If you dig through this blog you’ll find plenty of tips for adapting the soup recipe so it tastes slightly different.
I hope it helps! Hope you’ll come back and tell your progress for weight/inches lost in your 7 days.
    Cheers,
    Dana

  7. The soup is great, try using different bouillon.I found a ham flavor that adds flavor like you wouldn’t beleive, also add garlic powder just be creative. The ham bouillon I found is a powder form by Orrington farms very easy to use.

  8. Interesting @Anita Gerido…I never thought of trying ham bouillon. Will definitely try that when making my next batch.
    Cheers,
    Dana
